Coronavirus Self-Isolation

Lockdown Day 18. Saturday 11 April

A bit of study, a bit of a walk, a bit of gardening.

While it’s better to have an enlarged bubble, it involves more compromises and more patient. We are united here, in our criticism of the weakness of the health response in NZ. It looks increasingly likely that we’ll muddle through without a health disaster, but with continuing excuses for not doing more testing and heavier policing, it seems unlikely to me that we will eliminate the virus in NZ. I hope I’m wrong. Whatever, the figures continue to look better every few days. We’ve got plenty of food here, but will run light on fresh fruit and veg. We’ve got frozen and cans for a week or so.
